We fell in love...

We fell in love with Casa Dos Chicos online through pictures; however, the house is even more beautiful in person. The architecture, the layout, the decor, the garden - everything about the house is simply beautiful and well done. And the wonderfulness doesn't stop at the house. It started with Patrizio and Mark, who were very responsive to emails and accommodating, to the attentive house manager, to the lovely cleaning ladies who also cooked fabulous meals, and to the driver who to took us to and from the airport. Everything was handled professionally and with style. We look forward to our next stay.

Oh my! wonderful Holiday

Oh my! What a wonderful holiday!! We explored all the beaches and jungles and rocks over the ocean! Everyday was a new adventure! Then home to Maga (cook) and amazing food and Graciella for amazing massages! We hope to be back next year!

Wonderful time ...

I spent 5 days at Casa Dos Chicos with 8 of my girl friends and we had an incredibly wonderful time! Every day, when we came back from an expedition or hanging out in town, we jumped right into the pool :) We loved having Mel and Maga cook for us - we did a couple of dinners and brunch, and it was all great. Every detail of this house is spot on design-wise and we all can't wait to come back!

STUNNING

Patrizio The place was just STUNNING all around. And the weather was perfect! We all so enjoyed the town, the property - happy to be a part of the buzz of Sayulita and then able to walk up to our lovely home to get away for a bit as well. You guys are amazing with the layout, the decor, all the little spots for gathering/reading and book or the larger common area. Ernesto and Maga were terrific as well. The town certainly knows how to party during Holy Week - it was quite a crowd all week long, if you've never been that week. Italy will definitely be on our short list. Will be in touch once we hone in on a date/time. Thank you for sharing such a lovely property with us - we look forward to returning and exploring the same in Italy!

Amazing wedding�.

My husband and I just got back from the most amazing wedding week in Sayulita. We kept everything intimate and the two of us and our wedding party stayed at the lovely Casa dos Chicos. From the moment we stepped through the gates of the driveway, we knew we had made the right choice. The gardens are gorgeous with butterflies floating between every kind of tropical flower you could imagine. The swimming pool is an awesome private oasis. Each suite is unique and gives you ultimate privacy. The upper living room and kitchen area has some of the best views of the ocean and jungle you will ever see. This is where we had our ceremony with family and friends looking out onto what feels like the edge of the earth. It really could not have been more perfect. Ernesto and the house staff were all great. The house was kept spotless. The kitchen is the perfect place to make breakfast and coffee as you look out the ocean. I don't know what else to say. It was everything we imagined and more. Rent a golf cart if you have any issues walking on hills. It was helpful to cart our grandparents up to the house. Everyone else found it an enjoyable and pretty walk to and from town. Thank you to Patrizio and Mark for creating such a house. We will be back year after year to celebrate our anniversary.

Fabulous�.

Thank you for everything! We had a wonderful time at Casa dos Chicos! The house was fabulous. It was even better than we expected. There were six of us and it felt both private and communal; so many places to sit and read, enjoy the view or each other�s company. The veiw from the kitchen/living area is incredible; so cool and breezy. My husband loved waking up while it was still dark and watching the sun rise from the hot tub! There was a carnival going on while we were there so we had a firework display every night! The pool surrounded by the lush beautiful garden was perfect. We went to the farmers market in Sayulita which was such a special experience; so much beautiful food and people. We walked into town everyday; so many delicious restaurants and so much great shopping. We loved the jewelry/clothing street vendors on Calle Delfin. My girls surfed and swam on the vibrant main beach. We walked over to Playa de Los Muertos twice which was serene and lovely. Maga was amazing. One of the culinary highlights of the trip was her pancake breakfast. Ernesto was super attentive and available to help with any questions or minor issues. Tanis� yoga classes were amazing. The combined experience of the view and yoga was just incredible.It was the perfect combination of luxury and an authentic Mexican travel experience. We hope to rent one of your homes in Italy next!

Gorgeous...

Casa dos Chicos is as gorgeous as the pictures on your web site portray. We had a ragtag group of 7, most of whom are in the wine/food/hospitality business, and every one of us was charmed by the views, the design and the amenities; you've thought of everything and when the rain started, we dug into all the lovely books you had on hand. The common areas were lovely to share and the rooms offered privacy and quiet when needed. Manager Ernesto was there whenever we needed him and I know it was hard for each of us to have to leave. There has already been talk of a visit to Italy and if it pens out, you know we'll be staying in one of your lovely homes!

Best Time!

We had THE BEST time. Every moment was just perfect. Ernesto and Maga are just wonderful. The house is just stunning and so comfortable. Maga�s food was delicious and we had multiple massages on the roof! I just can�t thank you enough! I have 14k followers on instagram and got SO MANY inquiries about the house from posting photos! It was just perfect and I can�t wait to come back again!

A world away...

Amazing time

Fabulous time

We had a fabulous time in Sayulita and loved our stay at Casa Dos Chicos!We didn't want to leave! The property is exactly as the photos suggest, if not better. Incredible Experience

Thank you Patrizio. We had an incredible experience in Sayulita. The house was so great - we hardly ever wanted to leave! When we were able to get out, we saw some amazing beaches and ate delicious food! Everyone in our group had an amazing time. Sayulita and Casa Dos Chicos are definitely special places!

Amazing adventure

I've written in my head to you all week. Words are not enough to thank you or congratulate you on your amazing Casa dos Chicos. My girls and I are on an amazing adventure here. The sanctuary of comfort, detail and pure beauty. Thank you so much...we have so enjoyed your home. The kitchen is amazing, the pool so refreshing. The hammocks! We have so enjoyed the open air markets and cooking in our lovely kitchen together...we made tamales!!! We have incredible photos to send you. One of my daughters has quite the talent and I think her photos reflect Sayulita even better than yours! We would very much like to visit your home in the Tuscany area of Italy in two yrs for yet another graduation from High school! Well, off to my hammock for one last siesta! Muchas Gracias!!!

A small Island of Paradise

We had a wonderful time in Sayulita and loved your house. It worked perfectly for our family and I particularly loved lying on my back in the downstairs pool looking at the beautiful tropical vegetation surrounding me. Family breakfasts and dinners at the table were really happy events. My compliments also to your caretaker, the cleaning and pool staff � everyone was so friendly and helpful. You have a small island of paradise within paradise!

As Beautiful as the pictures

How sad to leave your lovely home! It was just as beautiful as the pictures! We couldn't think of a place we would rather be in town than Casa Dos Chicos - and we've been to Sayulita 3 times and know the various lodging options quite well! We loved the proximity to town but the remote, relaxed feel high above the bustle of the Plaza.

Exceptional stay...

We had an exceptional stay at Casa Dos Chicos. The rooftop dining room and living room are an open floorplan, with spectacular views of the ocean. We spent most of our evenings there--relaxing in the jacuzzi tub, reading in the hammocks or eating dinner by candlelight. This communal area is perfect for entertaining and a nice compliment to the more private areas of the house. I would also say that the pool is a welcome alternative from the beach--complete with all the amenities (outdoor shower, adjacent grill). And for those evenings when you really want to be lazy, you can have a wonderful meal catered and prepared on site! We've rented private homes around the world and I would recommend this property enthusiastically.

Perfect Destination

I highly recommend Casa Dos Chicos as a prefect destination for anyone looking for a break from daily life in a chic beautiful setting. The house makes you feel relaxed and at home the minute you walk in the gates. The simplicity and elegance of the guestrooms, which are big, airy and beautifully appointed, will give you a feeling of a stylish, modern Mexican home. The Casa�s location grants a stunning view of the town of Sayulita and the sunset from the rooftop soaking tub is not to be missed. A short walk from the Casa, you will find wonderful shops, outrageously good restaurants and the famous surfing beach. Honestly it was the best vacation I have had in years! Casa dos Chicos was so relaxing, so very comfortable and simply not to be missed if you are planning on staying in Sayulita!

Incomparable week

We're back Home after an incomparable week in Sayulita. Casa dos Chicos is amazing...simply perfect. Our favorite thing was getting up each morning and we would all make our way up to the living room, with sweatshirts against the morning chill, to have coffee and read while the sun gradually warmed the air. Magical! We love the house and we love Sayulita. We definitely plan to go back. In fact there was some discussion that maybe we should just do spring break there every year! Some of our favorites: dinner at Terra Viva (our favorite dinner with their special flank steak); dinner at MexoTik (also a fav, their ceviche was out of this world); breakfast at Rollies; tacos from the street vendors (that's what we did every day for lunch) and chicken from Yolanda!

Perfectly Designed

Sometimes we purchase items on line because the pictures are great, but the actual product is shoddy....In the case of Casa de dos Chicos the pictures do not do justice to the beauty of the house, gardens, views or pool. Every inch of the house is perfectly designed and decorated, from the sea-blue staircases to the magenta interior walls of the outdoor shower. Everything is designed to enhance the colors of the Mexican Rivera in which the house is located. The rooms are spacious and airy with windows that look into the interior garden and the bay. Every detail has been considered including all the correct cooking equipment, luxurious linens, even the art books in each room. The house is private and lovely. However, just as the owner advised, the town can be a bit noisy. Roosters, gas delivery trucks and music! The good news is that you only have a three minute walk to the plaza of Sayulita with its lovely little shops and cafes. The food is wonderful and the grocery stores well stocked. The people are friendly, many speak English, the beach is uncrowded but active, and it's paradise there in winter. We loved it and are looking forward to returning next year.

Unforgettable Vacation!

We are an Italian Family with 2 teenage girls and we spent a wonderful, unforgettable vacation at Casa Dos Chicos in December 2010! From this enchanting and luxurious villa you can enjoy 360 breathtaking views of the countryside and ocean and admire beautifully colored birds and Iguanas everywhere on the surrounding tropical trees. At the top of the house we had lovely breakfasts everyday with local Sayulita sweets, we bathed in the Hot tub with ocean view and spent beautiful moments in the open air living room on the comfy sofas and the delightful hammocks. The 4 bedrooms are spacious, comfortable, beautifully decorated and each unique and very private + with its own bath! At the garden level there�s a heated pool surrounded by a garden of tropical flowers where we relaxed every afternoon in full privacy. Every morning we made the beautiful walk to town and the beach where the atmosphere is the most authentic Mexican we ever experienced. Casa Dos Chicos is a not to be missed dreamy adventure!

Ultimate Mexican Escape

Casa dos Chicos is the ultimate Mexican escape for people who want a luxurious but still authentic travel experience. Its position up the hill, looking out over the town (not to mention the rooftop living room view of the ocean!) gives the house a removed, serene effect without feeling disconnected. It's not a gated or resort experience. You feel every bit a part of the town of Sayulita while you're there and can enjoy the vibrant energy of this wonderful little town.

Superb Luxurious Mexican Casa

We visited this location with 4 friends [6 adults in total all in our 40's], once we arrived we all wanted to move in. The views, the 'casa compound' [as we referred to it], the town, the town people, the food, the sights the sounds, all added up to a perfect vacation. The local Property Manager was so helpful with getting us acquainted with the house, the town, and neighboring areas, he was also quick to respond to any assistance that we needed whilst we were staying at Casa dos Chicos. Renting from the owners was a breeze. The walk into town was easy and we all looked forward to the short adventure 5-7 minutes down and 7-10 back [uphill], we rented a car and hardly used it unless we drove to other areas outside Sayulita. In town you can find everything that you need [wine, beer, meat, fresh seafood straight from the boat, produce, baked goods, good quality roasted coffee ground or whole bean etc.] And as for the house itself - the photos don't do it justice - you truly feel like a 'rockstar'. Stop hesitating get there and check it out for yourself it is a beautiful part of Mexico and an amazing place to stay.

Beautiful vacation villa

This is truly a beautiful vacation villa! The interiors are a fun mix of minimal modern design and vibrant mexican colors and the set up is sublime! Every bedroom is unique and private and the 360 views from the kitchen and living room and the bridge are beautiful! We spent every late afternoon in the heated pool and then after dinner we would soak in the rooftop Hot tub...so relaxing! Sayulita is also very charming full of good restaurants and great boutiques. We will try to come vack as soon as we can! Thank you for a great vacation!
